TORONTO, ON [August 12, 2026] – Cyder, the fintech redefining loyalty for credit unions, announced a new partnership with SASCU (Salmon Arm Savings & Credit Union), a 20,000+ member credit union serving communities across the Shuswap region of British Columbia. The partnership marks Cyder's continued expansion across North America and its growing footprint among credit unions committed to modern member engagement.

Through the Cyder platform, SASCU will be able to provide cash rewards to members for meaningful financial behaviours across the member journey, from opening accounts, referring friends to setting up a direct deposits, turning everyday interactions into lasting member loyalty.

As competition in financial services intensifies and member expectations continually evolve, credit unions across the continent are recognizing that loyalty is no longer a nice-to-have but a strategic pillar. SASCU's decision to partner with Cyder reflects a broader shift in the industry: credit unions are moving from passive relationships to proactive, personalized engagement that reinforces their cooperative values.

"Our members are the reason SASCU has been here for 80 years. This program is a way of giving back to the people who choose us every day, and making sure that loyalty goes both ways," said Barry Delaney, CEO of SASCU.

SASCU joins a growing network of credit unions across North America already building modern loyalty programs on the Cyder platform. These institutions range from ~5,000-member credit unions to organizations serving more than 500,000 members.

"SASCU understands that belonging has to be felt, not just assumed," said Sukhman Dulay, CEO and Co-Founder of Cyder. "We're proud to bring a platform to SASCU that makes it easy to recognize and reward the members who show up every day."

The program launched in June 2026, with members set to earn up to $5k depending on the offer.
